Currently
I'm a software engineer at Fidelis Partners ERP, a provider of mid-sized enterprise manufacturing data systems. I build, implement, and integrate features to streamline processes in all stages of a manufacturing operation, from CRM and quoting to production, inventory, and more for our 25+ US-based manufacturing clients.
Previously
I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, and spent a lot of my childhood running small businesses of my own around town — car washing, landscaping, dog walking, rock shops, and much more. As I neared the end of high school and was exposed to coding, I learned the multiplier effects good software can have for those it is built for.
In college, I studied Computer Science at Notre Dame, along with minors in Business and Real Estate, plus some other neat courses. Took nearly 160 credits—wouldn't recommend. Inside and outside of coursework, I also worked on some other cool stuff. After my freshman year, I started a power washing company to pay for college; I primarily managed the team I hired and spent most of my time strategically driving sales beyond 6-figures in just a few weeks. Had a great run, but sold the company after a couple years so I could focus on bigger things.
The following year, I interned with Raytheon on a project to optimize satellite coverage amidst longitudinal convergence near the poles. That summer, I interned as a valuation analyst at Saguaro Capital, evaluating small cap ($250m - $2b) companies.
The next summer, I worked as a SDE intern at Amazon in the Alexa Shopping Unit; I designed and implemented a web application to enable PMs to update 1000s of intent product mappings, which could fluctuate based on buying season.
Personal
I enjoy reading, basketball, soccer (minus the flopping), geography, college football, and beating any of my 7 siblings at ping pong. Had a short but fruitful boxing career as well. Recently, I've found myself increasingly interested in scalable Database/System Design, Computer Vision, ML, all things sales, P2P systems, and more.
